Creative pursuits

Outside of work, I am the creator and maintainer of the Electoral Cartogram of Canada. I also write an occasional column about how to live more harmoniously with tech: Slow Tech. From time to time, I do volunteer graphic design work for organizations, groups, and causes I support. (I ❤️ print design!)

When I’m not doing these things, I’m probably taking photos. One time, one of them ended up in the New York Times.
