Moscow Metro Puts World to Shame
On a page entitled “Moscow subway of which all Russians are proud”, a long series of photographs illustrate why the statement is self-evident. Jaw-dropping architecture in the most elegant underground in the world.
It certainly puts Montreal’s 1960–70s Métro with its heavily-modernist (some might say “brutalist”) ethic to shame.

All things are relative, I’d say. Sure, we don’t compare to Moscow; but given the fact that it wasn’t built in a dictatorial state, I’d say we did alright. Especially given the system built in the closest comparable context: Toronto!
