Would the World Like Fries With That?
As we talk about security perimeters, armed marshalls and anti-terrorism intelligence networks, it is apparent that the liberties of Western citizens are dim on the radar scope of most politicians, journalists and commentators. In the blinding light of the threat of terrorism, issues that deserve scrutiny and subtle analysis are losing their colour and shading.
We will rush to arms without consideration of the risk of backfire. We will simultaneously restrict free access and personal privacy, removing important mortar from from democratic foundation.
And as corporate watchdog Naomi Klein warns, political opportunism lurks around every corner.

just some of the things i think of..
Manicured lawns
Manicured nails
Some say life is full of yawns
Some say life runs slow as snails
Manicured?
Man I cured?
What did “MAN” cure?
Surely not the common cold or AIDS; for that would bring the government and economy crashing before our ignorant little greedy eyes.
Yet, we pride ourselves as being human; human beings. Almighty and top of the food chain. But what are we doing? What have we become? We’ve become this unthoughtful society full of greedy people who only live for tomorrow and for their own worth.
What have we done in our generation thus far? Sure we invented things, things we probably do not need, but when did life become about bettering ourselves to control every aspect. Every piece of land, every religion and everyone’s thought, what happened to us as humans, as animals. We’ve turned into this huge virus on the Earth, we take and take and take from the Earth everyday, yet we put nothing back. Are we that blinded as a whole that we can not see what we are doing to ourselves, killing of other people because they have a different view. Since when did indifference become deadly? Surely we are not striving for one nation, one god, one currency, one being. Where’s the fun in that?
And why is it so vital to us as humans, animals, to be the same, as such:
We are born, we grow to high school, graduate with honors, go on to an Ivy League College, Graduate top of the class, get a good respectful job, get married, have child, go on vacation once a year, and retire to die.
Is that it? You gotta be kidding me. Speaking of inventing things, why did we make cigarettes, drugs, bombs, nuclear power, ect ect, why didn’t we concentrate on more peaceful things, more productive and environmentally promising items. I think it has a lot to do with money, control, and power.
I do not want to come of as a “tree hugger” but this is my home, and I do not want to see it go, it’s such a beautiful place if only we can get our eyes of the T.V. and propaganding bullshit of the world to deter us from the truth.
