Over There (in the UK)

In a mistake I've heard made by others too often, I carelessly wrote "Roger Moore" while talking about Bowling for Columbine. It could be because I was planning on seeing Die Another Day, which, I should add, was quite an enjoyable romp of a film. Horrid double entendres, glamourous locations and Halle Berry's, er, acting -- what's not to like? Hey, I'm not ashamed to admit I enjoy a little Bond now and then.

Neither is Anthony Lane, apparently, who chalks up forty years of vodka martinis, spy gadgets and cunning linguists.

If you're in the mood, you might also recall the glory of 007 title sequences. Although that new Madonna track stinks. Who invented the vocoder and how can we punish him?

I only really read it for Canucks coverage, but even still it’s nice that The Vancouver Sun finally redesigned its hideously awful website to look like it was designed this century.
