Of course it's easy to be excellent when there's only one of you. Which is exactly what the first issue of rangermag was.

But now they've gone and done it again. No promises when we'll get some more (not that we're greedy), but the second issue is a decent enough helping after all. While it seems to be a magazine of sorts — of interesting features about mostly Portland-based interesting people — rangermag manages to be one of the few web sites that really effectively fuses design and content. The look, the interaction, they are essential to the message.

And I like it.

Check out, especially, the fashion shoot in "Fashion for the Masses." No, there are no numbers on the clothes.
