Over There (in the UK)

Thus it perhaps not surprising

Thus it perhaps not surprising — though it was to me at the time — that I felt such strong feelings of remorse and sadness. Feelings I've never felt about any sort of celebrity, and certainly couldn't feel about any other Canadian politician.

There is no shortage of material to link to on the Web, of course, but there seems little need to send you to the usual assortment of media outlets. Instead I offer this simple but well-produced tribute at 120seconds.com. You'll need Flash to enter the site, wherein lies some telling sound bites and testimonies from other young Canadians, perhaps not so unlike myself.
